New tablet LifeTab Medion 9516 will be made available in Europe next March 29th at price 399 euros. It is an optimized version of the previous model which maintains almost all specifications. The substantial improvements mainly concern the capacity of the battery which should now provide a range close to 10 hours against 8 of the previous model. This is undoubtedly good news since the mobility is affected, not a little of the potential of the battery.
Furthermore, in reference to its predecessor, the new Medion Lifetab 9516 introduces support technology USB Host and Bluetooth 3.0 which allows to exchange data easily and quickly. The tablet features a display with a diagonal of 10 inches can work at a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The main memory is 1 GB and there are 32 GB of internal memory for storing content. It is still possible to use external memory cards thanks to the presence of a special slot.
On the back of the tablet is easy to find a camera sensor integrated with 5 megapixel camerawith LED flash. Front was placed a 2 megapixel camera for video conferencing and video calls. Medion Lifetab 9516 uses a processor Nvidia Tegra 2 in perfect harmony with the operating system Android 3.2 Honeycomb, which will be updated within a few months to Android 4.0. The configuration is completed with the connectivityWiFi 802.11b/g/n , with the receiver GPS integrated to get your position, with the releasemicroHDMI and the slot for the SIM Card .
Medion Lifetab 9516 supports 3G/UMTS, weighs 750 grams (720 grams against the previous model) if you consider the included lithium-polymer battery, with a thickness of 13.2 mm (13.1 mm against the first generation).
