We knew the notebook HP Pavilion dm4 towards the end of 2011. This is for those who do not remember, a nice laptop with sinuous lines and streamers, with a cover made of aluminum alloyand the palm rest like soft touch . The display had a diagonal of 14 inches with a resolution of1366 x 768 pixels. In this notebook, there is also a version with a black color with Beats Audio and red Beats logo in plain view. Unlike the standard version, Pavilion dm4 Beats Audio Edition provides a more powerful hardware equipment, consisting of a processor Intel Core i5 , up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, 750 GB hard drive and a dedicated graphics card AMD Radeon HD 7470M generation.
The audio system edited by Beats Audio course is composed of 4 Altec Lansing speakers and there were then ports USB 3.0 and HDMI, memory card reader type DHSC, TrueVision HD webcam with a special sensor for shooting high quality with lights very low, and Ethernet and WiFi connections, with optional Bluetooth. These days, however, on the web page of a Chinese shop appeared a new HP Pavilion dm4 Beats Audio Edition, which differs from the one just described, especially the integration of new processor Intel Ivy Bridge and a new video card.
The new Pavilion dm4, whose appearance is unchanged, would provide a configuration consisting of quad-core Intel Core i7-3612QM 2.1 GHz, 4 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz memory, a hard disk drive 750 GB, a DVD Super Multi and indeed a dedicated video card AMD Radeon HD 7570M with 1 GB of RAM onboard. The new notebook also integrate a keyboard backlit with red LEDs, a biometric sensor for fingerprint reader and a 6-cell battery .
The price reported by the Chinese site is 6799 yuan , equivalent to roughly $ 1078 , then a price slightly higher than the $899 model year to date, however, amply justified by the superior hardware equipment and the addition of Bluetooth and the reader fingerprint which makes this laptop more suitable to the professional.
